myFitApp launches branded live-streaming as part of its COVID-19 support package

Innovatise, the company behind myFitApp, today announced the immediate availability of its customer-branded live-streaming solution.

Available now as part of the myFitApp COVID-19 support program, this provides super-easy in-app video streaming for members and guests.

South Downs Leisure has been running a weekly program with 3 live-streamed classes per day.

“myFitApp live-streaming is just what we’ve been looking for,” commented Duncan Anderson, Chief Executive of South Downs Leisure. “It’s our brand, it's easy for our trainers and easy for members who can watch on their phones or on a laptop via our website. The myFitApp team have done a stunning job getting this running rock-solidly so quickly.”

Other early adopters include Active Tameside and Active Leeds and many others who want to keep members engaged during lockdown and introduce digital membership options for re-opening.

myFitApp live-streaming provides the best user experience because it is entirely within the leisure operator’s branded app or website. It doesn’t rely on third party web conferencing or social media platforms and there are no external links or codes required. Because it’s completely integrated app-users can add sessions to their calendar, share them on social media and operators can alert members to upcoming streams using push notifications. It all works seamless making life easy for members and easy for trainers.

myFitApp live-streaming is available today for all Innovatise customers. It is part of the company’s COVID-19 support program which provides supporting options including the video event schedule and new Marketing Automation message centre free of charge during the lock-down period. The COVID-19 program also includes a fast-track new customer program to enable operators without a branded app to get up and running quickly.
